The huge success of their last album 'Drag It Down On You (2016), closely followed by the 'Stretch Ur Skin' collaboration with The Smith Street Band's Wil Wagner, saw Melbourne heartthrobs Ceres grow in profile significantly.

A sold-out tour of Australia, culminating in late 2017 with a full house at Max Watts Melbourne. Now Ceres return, with a new lust for life and a new single, 'Viv In The Backseat', an anthem that finds frontman Tom Lanyon at the top of his songwriting game.

Recorded in Melbourne earlier this year with producer Tom Bromley, the Los Campesinos! bassist who helmed Drag It Down On You, "Viv In The Front Seat" not only signifies a new beginning for Lanyon, but for Ceres in general.
