Cody Jinks releases his new album 'I'm Not The Devil,' via Cody Jinks Music/Thirty Tigers.

The 13-song set was produced by Joshua Thompson at Sonic Ranch Studios in Tornillo, TX and mixed by Ryan Hewitt (Avett Brothers, Lumineers, Clint Black, Whitey Morgan).

Saving Country Music premiered the second track released from the album, "Chase That Song". Previously naming his 2015 song "David," as "Song Of The Year" last year, Saving Country Music says, "You'll be hard pressed to find another country album for the rest of 2016 as heavily anticipated by fans in the know as Cody Jinks' I'm Not The Devil." They continued, "True country music is not dead, it's just been hiding in the hearts of artists like Cody Jinks, waiting to be unleashed, and waiting to regain its rightful place through a wave of country resurgence spearheaded by Jinks and other independent-minded artists."

Rolling Stone Country previously premiered the title track and first single from I'm Not The Devil and called it "his interpretation of rule-breaking country music."

Jinks' credible grit and meaningful tattoos are no fad. They define exactly who he really is: someone who was raised on the sounds of country music and metal. "Merle Haggard and Metallica were the kings. They set the tone for me and I spent a good part of my youth wanting to be James Hetfield." Ultimately Jinks found himself back to where it all began. "My dad loved the outlaw country icons, Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, and The Hag. That never ending consistency of incredible music growing up laid some very deep seeds." Those early influences shine through on I'm Not The Devil as one of Jinks' favorite songs on the album is a cover of the Merle Haggard classic "The Way I Am." "I love that song. I wrapped it up just before Merle died. The song always resonated with me," he says. "Country music found me when I was young and chased me down as I grew older."

Jinks' latest record is his deepest, darkest and most provocative album to date, with a metal common denominator, the apocalypse, running throughout the record. "It's a pretty scary time," Jinks says. "There are some evil people running things in the world."

Jinks has independently built an extremely rabid and loyal fanbase with consistently sold out shows. It's all about the music and the fans, who are the fuel that drives him. "They come out night after night giving up hard earned money and precious time to see me play," Jinks says. It truly is amazing when you really think about it. The best way I can say thanks is by giving back with effort and gratitude."
